A Pastor's Pathway to Revival

A pastor/leader in Revival is one who is being Saturated with the Presence of God. That means that their mind and heart is Saturated to the point that it is overflowing with God. Every aspect of a person's life is consistently exhibiting the Fruit of the Spirit & holiness! Therefore, their marriage, family, work, relationships, and all that they do is exhibiting the thoughts, character & power of God in and through their lives. They will have an unquenchable passion for God's Presence and much fruit will be produced.

Therefore, how does a pastor (from PFR's perspective) come to be in Revival & spread Revival in their church and throughout their community? God does this, not us; through our listening and obedience to His leading. The important thing is that we prepare the way, that the Lord might manifest Himself just as in the Great Awakenings. Here is a pathway that might bring light to this perspective:

Engaging: A pastor/leader desires to experience more of the Presence of God. They need to see & be encouraged that God is moving and will move. The pastor/leader desires to be stirred and see transformation in them and through them. They desire to be part of a group of committed pastor/leaders who will hold out until they experience God's Saturation in them and through them, thus seeing a breakout of God's power.

Energizing: This step encourages and inspires a pastor/leader to engage with commitment. They participate in quarterly Prayer Summits, connecting with like minded pastor/leaders while building relationships. They engage in Transformation Groups; whether within or outside a denomination. It is not about more spiritual activity but rather authentic transformation toward a pure heart. They have personally decided to fully engage in order to be saturated with Him. They desire to crave the full Presence of God. They want a life identified with being a House of Prayer. They desire to continually experience the power of God and radical transformation.

Embracing: These pastor/leaders are embracing the vision of Saturation of the Presence of God in 1,000 pastors/churches; 200,000 existing believers experiencing Saturation; and 500,000 new believers in Colorado. They have committed their church to crave God's Presence, become a House of Prayer and a House of Transformation through God's power. They expect God to radically transform their church to being Saturated with Him and thus the unsaved are drawn. They formalize their Revival Challenge Commitment to this vision by registering on www.pastorsforrevival.org

Equipping: The pastor/leader seeks God to reveal His plan for their church. The pastor and leadership team fellowship and pray together for God's strategy that each of their members be Saturated. They gain counsel from other pastor/leaders as to how God is working in and through their churches. They also engage in service projects with the city to bless them and the people, meeting the needs of the community and drawing them to the church.

Expanding: This pastor/leader is reaching out and building relationships with other pastors to engage them in this Revival/Saturation process. They are helping other pastors and churches embrace this vision. They are expecting and reinforcing that transformation begins in the individual, going through the church and fostering a transformed community.

If you embrace these principles and pathway, it is demonstrating to God that you believe that He will come and bless; that you believe Revival will take place in you and through you within your church. You are preparing the ground and inviting our Lord to come; we want all of Him and believe that He would manifest Himself and bring Revival to you, yours and to your
